Security design
Choose the encryption method and understand the difference
Wiser Locker provides two authenticated-encryption options and explains selection, verification, and recovery boundaries as one clear flow.
AES-256-GCM and XChaCha20-Poly1305
Both provide authenticated encryption. The app can benchmark this device and recommend the faster option, while the final choice remains yours.
Chunk verification and integrity checks
If an encrypted header or data chunk fails verification, the app refuses to return untrusted plaintext.
Biometrics are a daily shortcut
Biometrics can speed up unlocking. Your primary Vault password remains the required recovery path when they are unavailable.
Complete encrypted .wlz snapshots
A .wlz contains a complete Vault state. Its backup password is separate from the current Vault password, and restore replaces the current Vault.

Advanced privacy controls
Decide in advance how the app should respond
Each control addresses a different situation. Before enabling one, the app explains what happens, what data is affected, and how primary authentication remains involved.
Discreet Access
Use another password to open a restricted Vault that keeps hidden media and sensitive areas out of normal navigation.
Hidden-content Password
Use separate credentials to protect management of Hidden Tags and Hidden Filters.
Duress Response
Entering the duress password immediately runs the configured destructive response and resets the entire Vault on this device.
Background Auto Logout
Clears the unlocked Vault session after the app remains in the background for the selected delay.
Security Logs
Search, retain, or clear security activity on the device without sending it as ordinary analytics.
Android Force Exit
On Android, the app can close after the chosen background delay instead of only clearing the session.

Start without creating an account.
